Glass is made from sand. An abundant, natural, non-depleting resource making fiberglass an environmentally friendly solution. The more fiberglass we use the less wood we use, therefore the less we have to destroy our forest.
Corrosion Resistance
The unique attributes of fiberglass also make it naturally resistant to corrosion and staining. Fiberglass products built to withstand harsh elements like heat, cold or salt air. It does not sweat, swell, rot or rust, fungus and termite free and does not mildew.
Durability
Fibre-Tech products are impact resistant; they are not easy to break. Our products are designed, tested and built to last for decades. That means there is less waste heading to landfills, as fiberglass products have extremely long life cycles.
Maintenance
Fiberglass is very easy to clean and has high compatibility with glazing. Fiberglass has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, similar to that of float glass. As a result, fiberglass, by its very nature, is highly-compatible with glazing materials like glass, because they expand and contract at similar rates, which enhances glazing durability.
