Warranty Policy

Fibre Tech Industrial Plastics warrants the products it manufactures against manufacturer’s defects for one (1) year from the date of purchase shown on your invoice or receipt.

1. What is covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in products manufactured by FTIP, when the product is used normally and as intended. Examples include cracking, delamination, warping, or failed seams or joints that result from how the product was made, not from how it was used.

2. What is not covered

The warranty does not cover:

• normal wear and tear, including surface scratches, fading, or discolouration from sunlight, heat, or chemicals;
• damage from accidents, impact, misuse, abuse, neglect, or overloading;
• damage from installation, repairs, or modifications not carried out by FTIP or an installer approved by FTIP;
• damage from not following FTIP’s care, use, or installation instructions;
• damage from fire, flood, extreme weather, or other events beyond our control;
• products used for a purpose they were not designed for;
• minor variations in colour, texture, or finish that do not affect how the product works;
• labour, transport, removal, or reinstallation costs, unless FTIP agrees to them in writing;
• defects that were not reported within the warranty period.

3. How to make a claim

1. Contact us within the warranty period, and as soon as possible after you notice the defect, at sales@fibretechguyana.com, (592) 220 6907, or WhatsApp (592) 651 5973.
2. Give your name, invoice or receipt number, the date of purchase, and a description and photos of the defect.
3. Keep the product available for inspection. FTIP may inspect it at your premises or ask you to bring it to our factory.

4. What we will do

If FTIP confirms the product has a manufacturer’s defect covered by this warranty, we will, at our choice, repair the product, replace it (or the defective part) with the same or an equivalent product, or refund the price paid for the defective product or part. A repaired or replaced product is covered for the rest of the original warranty period.

5. Your legal rights

This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you have under the laws of Guyana, including the Consumer Affairs Act.
